I found this store through social media and lived elsewhere in Canada. Though I loved its wide and specialized stock of amazing items, I didn't think I would be able to shop there during the pandemic. On a whim, I contacted Sinthia, the owner, and they gave me INCREDIBLE customer service while helping me find a way to ship my purchases from Ottawa to my door in the most timely and cost effective manner possible. I am BEYOND pleased with the customer service I received from The Alternative and so happy that I was able to buy some of their wares from afar, during a pandemic! It was quick and easy and I'm so happy I went with The Alternative. There are many interesting adult stores where I live, but I bought things at The Alternative that I haven't been able to find anywhere else, even when searching internationally!

I've went a couple times before but a year ago I went for shopping on my own and the owner is just so nice. I felt accepted and I could browse as much I needed, asking questions, she had a great humor, the items are made with good quality, especially those made out of leathers. The best of all you can find pretty much anything that you desire.

I highly recommend everyone to go there and see for yourself it was so worth it!
